Jack O. Hackett II Appointed Trustee to University of Florida Law Center Association, Inc.
PUNTA GORDA, FL – May 3, 2011 – Farr Law Firm is pleased to announce that Jack O. Hackett II has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Law Center Association of the University of Florida Levin College of Law beginning the fall semester of 2011. An alumnus of both the College of Law and UF’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Hackett will serve a five-year term on the Board.
“I am excited to serve my alma mater in this new capacity and to give back to the school that has served me so well,” said Hackett.
Hackett is a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate attorney and concentrates his legal practice on real estate and business law. He represents clients in transactions dealing with all areas of residential and commercial real estate acquisition and development and has represented clients in a number of high profile real estate transactions. He also provides counsel to a wide range of businesses in the formation, organization, and management of business entities.
The University of Florida Law Center Association, Inc. was formed in 1960 as a financial support organization for the College of Law. The Board of Trustees assists in the budgetary process, provides financial and volunteer resources and facilitates student mentoring programs. Unrestricted monies provided through the Association and its Board help fund a number of student and faculty programs, scholarships and activities.
