Albert “AJ” Stickley III

Albert “AJ” Stickley brings over 15 years of experience serving the legal needs of individuals and families across Southwest Florida. Now part of FarrLaw’s Venice office, AJ continues his long-standing commitment to helping clients plan for the future, protect their assets, and navigate the complexities of estate and trust law with confidence and care. His practice focuses on estate planning, trust and probate administration, and elder law.

Raised in Englewood, Florida, AJ is a proud graduate of Lemon Bay High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, where he double-majored in Business and International Affairs. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2008.

Before entering private practice, AJ gained valuable courtroom experience as both a prosecutor and public defender. While in law school, he served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Office of the Public Defender in Hillsborough County. Following graduation, he joined the State Attorney’s Office for the 12th Judicial Circuit in Sarasota County, where he prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases.

In 2013, AJ founded Stickley Law, a respected local practice known for its personal approach and deep community roots. Now, as part of FarrLaw, AJ and his team continue to provide the same attentive service and trusted counsel that clients have come to rely on—strengthened by the collaborative resources of one of Southwest Florida’s oldest and most established law firms.
