From the Ground Up, Farr Law Firm Supports Habitat for Humanity
PUNTA GORDA, FL – June 24, 2011 – With a philosophy that values a commitment to the community, Farr Law Firm was proud to recently support Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity in its efforts to give a local resident, Dorothy Carter, the opportunity to achieve the “American dream” of owning a home.
The firm donated the land the home was built on, and in March, employees of the firm participated in the construction of the home. On May 26, Roger H. Miller III, real estate attorney and past president of the Charlotte County chapter of Habitat, conducted the closing for Ms. Carter on behalf of Habitat.
“It is great to see the collaborative effort among Habitat board members, staff and donors, and the Farr Law Firm, result in providing an affordable, new home to a deserving Habitat partner in Charlotte County”, said Mr. Miller.
The culmination of the firm’s efforts will be realized on June 25th when the formal home dedication will take place.
