Forrest J. Bass Named a Farr Law Firm Shareholder

PUNTA GORDA – January 4, 2016 – Farr Law Firm is pleased to announce the promotion of Forrest J. Bass as a shareholder. This elected position is effective January 1, 2016. Bass joined the firm in 2009 and focuses his legal practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related tax matters.

“Mr. Bass is an excellent attorney who has earned an advanced degree in tax law and board certification in Wills, Trusts, and Estates while working at the firm. He regularly handles advanced estate planning matters for our clients. We are fortunate to have him become a director in the firm,” stated firm president David A. Holmes.

Bass is Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates which is The Florida Bar’s “Legal Expert” status. He received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 2015. Bass was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and received his Juris Doctor in 2009 from Stetson University College of Law. He also received his Bachelor of Arts from Flagler College in 2006.

Mr. Bass is active in the community and supports a number of local organizations. He is the immediate past President of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council, a Board Member for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and an Advisory Board Member for Charlotte State Bank & Trust.
