FarrLaw Expands in Venice with the Addition of Stickley Law

Venice, FL (October 30, 2025) – Farr Law Firm, P.A. (“FarrLaw”), Charlotte County’s oldest and largest law firm—and one of Southwest Florida’s leading full-service practices—today announced the addition of Stickley Law (formerly A. Stickley III, P.A.) and its legal team. Effective Monday, October 27, 2025, attorney Albert “AJ” Stickley III, associate attorney Ian W. MacLean, and their paralegals will join FarrLaw’s Venice Island office at 237 Nokomis Avenue South, Venice, Florida.

This strategic move enhances FarrLaw’s capabilities across the estate planning, trust administration, and probate practice areas—bringing together Stickley Law’s boutique practice and FarrLaw’s century-long platform of resources and multi-practice-area breadth.

Albert “AJ” Stickley III brings more than 15 years of experience assisting individuals and families with estate planning, trust/probate administration and elder law matters in the region. A native of Englewood, Florida, AJ earned his B.A. in Business and International Affairs from Florida State University and his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2008 and previously served as both prosecutor and public defender before founding Stickley Law in 2013.

Ian W. MacLean, raised in Englewood and Venice, focuses his practice on estate planning, trust/probate administration and elder law. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stetson University, a J.D. with Certificate of Concentration in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law (2021) and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2021.
