Dorothy L. Korszen appears on The Education Channel’s “Law & Sarasota” on February 20.

PUNTA GORDA, FL – February 14, 2012 – Dorothy L. Korszen, a Director at Farr Law Firm, will be the featured guest on The Education Channel’s “Law & Sarasota” program airing on Monday, February 20 at 9:30 p.m.  The show will air at various times for five weeks on Comcast 20 and Verizon 33.  Times are listed on The Education Channel’s website (www.theedchannel.net).  Korszen will discuss topics regarding how to incorporate real estate in your estate plan

Korszen practices from the firm’s Englewood office and concentrates her practice on trusts and estates, real estate, and business and corporate law.  She has experience in all areas of residential and commercial real estate transactions.  Korszen also works with clients in preparing wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents and advises business owners in the formation, organization and management of business entities.

In addition to being actively involved with the Englewood Area Board of Realtors, Korszen is also a member of the Englewood Women’s Council of REALTORS®, the Englewood-Venice Business and Professional Women’s Group, the Charlotte County Bar Association, and the Charlotte County Estate and Tax Planning Council.  Korszen is president of the South County Division of the Sarasota County Bar Association and is a board member of The State College of Florida Foundation, Inc.  She formerly served as chair of the board of directors of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice.

The Education Channel is a non-profit educational access cable channel serving Sarasota County, Florida under the stewardship of the School Board of Sarasota County. It airs 24 hours-a-day, 7 days a week on Comcast 20 and Verizon 33.  Programming covers not only education, but also programs that inform, educate and entertain the Sarasota County community it serves.  Each month “Law & Sarasota” introduces judges, lawyers and other county employees to teach aspects of law.
