Bass Graduates from Elite Trusts and Estates Program
PUNTA GORDA – May 26, 2016 – Forrest J. Bass, a shareholder at the Farr Law Firm, recently graduated from the Florida Fellows Institute’s inaugural class. This elite program was established to develop trusts and estates attorneys into future leaders of the profession. Bass successfully completed all six programs required for graduation.
The Florida Fellows Institute was created by Florida Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Subject matter experts directed the comprehensive educational programs given around the state of Florida. Additional details about the Institute can be found at floridafellowsinstitute.org.
Bass is Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates which is The Florida Bar’s “Legal Expert” status. He received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 2015. Bass was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and received his Juris Doctor in 2009 from Stetson University College of Law. He also received his Bachelor of Arts from Flagler College in 2006.
Mr. Bass is active in the community and supports several local organizations. He is the immediate past President of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council, a Board Member for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and an Advisory Board Member for Charlotte State Bank & Trust.
