Estate Planning Document Drafter
Established law firm seeks a qualified Paralegal or Legal Assistant to draft legal documents in our Punta Gorda, Florida office.
TYPICAL DAY
- Drafting documents for attorneys including a client’s trust, last will, durable power of attorney, health care surrogate, living will, and any other documents as appropriate
- Editing and re-writing documents as needed
- In-office work only; no remote work
- 8:30 am – 5 pm; Monday – Friday
- Minimal overtime

ABOUT YOU – the desired candidate is:
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Eager and willing to learn
- Flexible and willing to adapt to unique situations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with computers and able to learn new programs quickly
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook and Word
- Previous experience in Estate Planning as a paralegal or legal assistant preferred
- Paralegal certification is preferred but not necessary
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is helpful but not required
