PUNTA GORDA, FL – August 1, 2013 – Attorney Roger H. Miller III has received Florida Bar Board Certification in Real Estate Law. Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law.

Only six percent of eligible Florida Bar members are board certified. A lawyer who is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar and who meets the standards prescribed by the state’s Supreme Court may become board certified.

“We are pleased to continue the firm’s tradition of excellence in real estate law. Roger is an experienced real estate attorney and earning his board certification is a significant achievement for him and the firm,” commented managing partner, David A. Holmes.

Roger represents individuals and businesses in general litigation matters, real estate and property disputes, mortgage foreclosures and construction litigation. Roger’s real estate practice consists of both residential and commercial real estate transactions. He counsels clients on contract preparation, commercial development and lending, and residential closings.

Mr. Miller received a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from the University of Florida in May of 1998, majoring in both finance and insurance. He received his Juris Doctor in December of 2001 from the University of Florida College of Law and joined the firm in 2002. Mr. Miller practices general civil litigation and real estate law in the Punta Gorda office.
