Farr Law Firm Welcomes A New Attorney To Its Team
Punta Gorda (October 10, 2008) –The
law firm of Farr, Farr, Emerich, Hackett and Carr, P.A. is pleased to announce
that Eric M. Decker recently joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Punta
Gorda office. Mr. Decker was sworn in as a member of The Florida Bar by the
Honorable Keith R. Kyle, 20th Circuit Judge, on October 1, 2008 at
the Charlotte County Courthouse.
Mr. Decker
earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
There he received an honors designation in Appellate Advocacy and participated
in the William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. In addition,
Mr. Decker worked as a certified legal intern at the Office of the Public
Defender for the Eighth Judicial Circuit where he represented clients in a
variety of criminal matters.
Prior to
law school, Mr. Decker served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps as an
aerial navigator on KC-130 aircraft. During this time he deployed in support of
operations in Kosovo, Colombia and Iraq. He was honorably discharged at the
rank of Sergeant.
Mr. Decker
practices civil litigation in the firm’s Punta Gorda office.
