PUNTA GORDA, FL – June 13, 2013 – Farr Law Firm is honored to announce that four of its attorneys have been included in the 2013 edition of Florida Super Lawyers magazine. Three partners Guy S. Emerich, Jack O. Hackett II, and Charles T. Boyle are listed as Super Lawyers. Natalie C. Lashway is selected to 2013 Florida Rising Stars list.

Emerich is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and this is his seventh consecutive year of recognition. He is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates and his practice focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration with an emphasis on protecting and preserving his clients’ assets, minimizing taxes and avoiding probate.  Emerich also practices real estate law.

Hackett, a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate attorney, receives this honor for the fifth time and fourth consecutive year.  He represents clients in all areas of residential and commercial real estate acquisition and development and has represented clients in a number of high profile real estate transactions.  Hackett also practices business law and counsels clients in a wide range of industries in the formation, organization, and management of business entities.

Boyle, a Florida Bar Board Certified Marital and Family Law attorney, receives this distinction for the sixth consecutive year.  He counsels clients in all areas of matrimonial and family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, division of business interests, division of retirement assets, tax issues, child support, parenting issues, domestic violence, and pre-nuptial agreements.  Boyle also practices in the areas of civil litigation and real estate.

Lashway is named a Rising Star for the first time. This honor recognizes attorneys in the state who are 40 or under or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.  Lashway focuses her legal practice on marital and family law. She counsels individuals undergoing divorce and other family-related matters including equitable distribution, division of business interests, division of retirement assets, tax issues, child support, parenting issues, domestic violence, and pre-nuptial agreements. Lashway also practices in areas of civil litigation.

Each year, Florida Super Lawyers lists no more than 5 percent of lawyers in the state as Super Lawyers and no more than 2.5 percent as Rising Stars.
