In 2011, the Farr Law Firm commemorated the passing of Earl Drayton Farr, Jr. with a donation of $25,000 to the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County. Mr. Farr was a passionate supporter of the organization through volunteer efforts and financial contributions.

The renovations to the intake building are now underway. These updates include the cat treatment area which will be named, “Earl Drayton Farr Jr. Feline Infirmary” in his memory. Mr. Farr and his widow, Paula, adopted two cats from the AWL.

The Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County is a non-profit humane organization committed to animal protection and welfare. Since 1963, their shelter has served the community by providing a temporary home, medical services and caring attention for thousands of dogs, cats and other animals. (http://www.awlshelter.org/)
